My primary source of inspiration is simply ME - this idea I have of the "best me".
I consider myself quite self- aware, and confident about what I want for myself. Now, this idea of the "best me" is not fixed. It has gone through some changes overtime, and will continue to do, I am sure, for whatever reason. However, there are aspects that will always remain constant. With that said, the "best me" speaks to that ultimate place I want to be in the personal, spiritually, and professional spheres of my life. It's my ultimate place of happiness, that is dictated only by me. Admittedly, I'm not always on track, but it serves as my point of reference; my guide post. It's my source of inspiration and what I aspire to be.
I also find inspiration from people I consider to be strong women, especially older women, whether I know them personally or not. I enjoy hearing older women speak. There's always such an unapologetic wealth of experience and wisdom; a lot one can learn or draw from. Many times I find myself saying, yeah, I want to do that or be like that! One of my favorite things to do is hang out with my mother and her friends, and just listen to them chat:-) So.... In all, what drives me is this quest for self - actualization --- my idea of the "best me and strong women I identify with.
